Marketplace Guidelines

These guidelines help maintain a high-quality marketplace that users can trust.

Quality Standards

Descriptions

• Accurately describe what your extension does
• Include specific use cases and examples
• Don't make claims about capabilities you don't deliver

Instructions (SKILL.md / AGENT.md)

• Use clear, specific language
• Include step-by-step workflows where appropriate
• Define boundaries — what the skill should NOT do
• Test with multiple AI providers

Dependencies

• Only declare dependencies your extension actually needs
• Prefer fewer, well-chosen dependencies over many
• Test that all dependencies install correctly

What's Not Allowed

• Extensions that exfiltrate user data
• Malicious or deceptive behavior
• Impersonation of other publishers
• Extensions that circumvent Nebo's permission system
• Spam or low-effort submissions
• Content that violates applicable laws

Pricing Guidelines

• Free extensions are welcome and encouraged
• Pricing should reflect the value provided
• No bait-and-switch (free listing that requires paid upgrade)
• Clearly communicate what's included

Intellectual Property

• You must own or have rights to everything you publish
• Don't submit content that infringes copyrights or trademarks
• Apache 2.0 licensed code can be included in extensions
